To celebrate the influential women that have made a significant difference on the world we have named each piece of jewelry after one of them. This pair of earrings is named after Yolanda Wang. Every earring pair is made with natural Prehnite gemstones of the same shape & size, however, the color of the earrings may vary slightly.
When Yolanda returned to China from the US in 2012, she was labeled a 'leftover woman.' After experiencing failed arranged dates & pressure from distant relatives that left her feeling 'not good enough,' she noticed that many women she knew were experiencing similar struggles.
Inspired by Sheryl Sandberg's book, 'Lean In,' Yolanda co-founded Lean-In Think Tank Circle, a Lean-In professional women's circle in 2013. Working in Beijing with her friend & co-founder Maggie, the Circle organizes offline female leadership events to encourage Chinese women to chase their own life goals & form their own definition of success.
Think Tank Circle has formed a global team to support women’s career and life development in China and to offer career and life guidance to young professionals. They interviewed over 100 successful women from different industries, sharing their stories on WeChat. The Circle has helped launch circles in other cities, such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Guiyang, & Changsha.
Yolanda was named on of the BBC's '100 Women of 2014,' recipient of the 'Young Wonderful Outstanding Woman Award of Beijing' in 2015, & has spoken at TEDxJNJ & TEDxCUC.
